Bishop Michael A Smith dedicated his life to Christ at 16 years old and was called into ministry at 22 years of age. He preached his first sermon on October 14, 1990. He served as associate minister under Rev. Mark Stewart at Bethel Baptist Church in McAllen, Texas. God led hm to establish Faith Fellowship Church in December 1997. While as pastor of Faith Fellowship Church he served as Director of Ministerial Alliances of the Southwest District in Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship, Director of the Rio Grande Valley Institute of Theological Studies, and participated in the Mike Barber Prison Ministries.

Presently, Pastor Michael A. Smith is Bishop of Kingdom Grace Apostolic Fellowship International where he serves as Director of Education and Regional Bishop for South Texas. Bishop Smith holds a certificate of Biblical Studies, Associated of Biblical Studies, Bachelor’s in theological studies, Master’s of Theological Studies from Vision International Institute and a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from Grand Canyon University.

Bishop is very active in his community. He is co-chair of the Edinburg Juneteenth Committee, a member of the All-American City of Edinburg, a member of the Juneteenth Committee in McAllen, and helps operate a food distribution for his church community and neighborhood.
