25 years clinical and administrative experience in the Texas Mental Health System including community and state facilities; 15 years with the Texas Health and Human Services as Director of Border Affairs; 3 years as Director of Emergency and Crisis Medical Services in the Rio Grande Valley; currently the Executive Director of the South Texas Red Cross Chapter in the Rio Grande Valley.

PERSONAL

Resides in Harlingen TX with his wife Leticia and son Jaime. Son Steve and daughter Alisa reside in Austin.  2 grandchildren, Mason and Austin. Member of the Harlingen Rotary and Harlingen Lion’s clubs. Attends Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Harlingen.
